Old Naturopathic Belief  There is an old naturopathic belief that all disease starts in the gut and there is some truth to this, so a healthy digestive system, one that is capable of processing and absorbing the nutrients from the food we eat is essential to a healthy disease-free life. Hadith Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h)  The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught that your body has rights over you, and the consumption of wholesome food and the leading of a healthy lifestyle are seen as religious obligations.  The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Ask God for certainty [of faith] and well-being; for after certainty, no one is given any gift better than health!
