  • I THINK THIS SHOT WILL WORK, AS IT WILL BUILD UP THETENSION WITHIN THE AUDIENCE WHO ARE EAGER TO FIND OUTWHO THE CHARACTER IS, ALSO I THINK IT GIVES THE CHARACTERA MORE MYSTERIOUS SIDE AS YOU HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE WHOIT IS.
  • THIS CLOSE UP WILL ALLOW THE VIEWER TO FINALLY SEE WHOWAS BEHIND THE BOOK. I THINK THIS SHOT IS GOOD AS ITWILL SHOW CLEARLY WHO THE PERSON IS, AND WILL ALLOWTHE VIEWERS TO BUILD A PICTURE OF WHAT TYPE OF PERSONTHIS CHARACTER IS.
  • I CHOSE TO CARRY ON USING THE SAME CLOSE UP ON THESAME CHARACTER IN ORDER TO SEE THAT HE HAS A GUNAND IN ORDER TO KEEP THE PACE OF THE TRAILER AT THESAME LEVEL.
  • I WILL USE NAMES AND LOGOS OF SPONSORS. I THINK THISWILL BE VERY EFFECTIVE AS IT WILL MAKE THE TRAILER LOOKMUCH MORE PROFFESSIONAL.
  • I CHOSE TO HAVE A LONG SHOT OF A ROOM FROM AHIGH LEVEL, THAT WOULD ALLOW THE VIEWER TO SEEMOST OF THE CHARACTERS IN ONE ROOM. HOWEVER, IDON’T THINK THIS SHOT WILL WORK AS FOR THIS SHOTTO BE SUCCESSFUL, THE ROOM WILL NEED TO BERATHER LARGER THAN A NORMAL SIZED ROOM AND IWILL NEED SOME SORT OF APPARATUS TO GET THECAMERA AT A HIGH LEVEL. I WILL CONSIDER OTHERWAYS OF DOING THIS SHOT OR CHANGING THE SHOTENTIRELY.
  • I CHOSE TO USE CLOSE UPS IN ORDER TO ESTABLISH THECHARACTERS. I ALSO DECIDED THAT I WILL FREEZE THESCREEN FOR AROUND 3 SECONDS AND THE ACTORSNAMES WILL APPEAR. I THINK THIS IS A GOOD WAY OFSHOWING WHO IS IN THE TRAILER AS THE SUDDENFREEZING OF THE SCREEN WILL CATCH THE VIEWERS EYE.
  • AFTER ESTABLISHING WHO THE ACTOR WAS, I DECIDED THATI WILL SHOW A SMALL CLIP OF THEM, IN ORDER TOPROMOTE THEIR CHARACTERS BEHAVIOURS. THIS IS A LONGSHOT. I THINK THAT THIS SHOT WILL BE GOOD AS YOU WILLGET TO SEE THE ALL OF WHAT IS GOING ON AND THE VIEWERWILL BE ABLE TO BUILD A PICTURE IN THEIR HEADS OF THECHARACTER.
  • I DECIDED THAT I WILL USE WORDING TO BREAK DOWNTHE ASPECTS THAT WILL OCCUR IN THE FILM. I WILLPUT THESE WORDS AFTER OR BEFORE A SHORT CLIPILLUSTRATING THE POINT, FOR EXAMPLE, IN THIS CASE IUSED THE WORD ‘VIOLENCE’ AFTER I SHOWED THESMALL CLIP OF VIOLENT ACTS.
  • AGAIN, I WILL USE THE SAMETECHNIQUE OF FREEZING THESCREEN ON EACH CHARACTERSCLOSE UP, IN ORDER TO ESTABLISHWHO THE ACTOR IS.
  • IN THIS SCENE, I CHOSE TO AGAIN USE A LONGSHOT, BUT THIS TIME THE CAMERA WILL BE IN THEMIDDLE, SO THAT ALL THE CONCENTRATION WILL BEON WHAT IS GOIN ON WITH THE CHARACTER ANDNOTHING ELSE. I THINK THIS IS A GOOD WAY OFGRABBING THE VIEWERS ATTENTION AS THEY WILLNOT BE DISTRACTED BY ANYTHING ELSE GOING ONIN THE SCENE.
  • I AGAIN OPTED TO USE THE LONG SHOTWITH THE CAMERA PLACED IN THE MIDDLEOF THE ROOM, DIRECTLY CAPTURINGWHATEVER THE CHARACTER IS DOING ANDNOTHING ELSE. HERE YOU CAN CLEARLY SEEWHAT THE CHARACTER IS DOING (ROBBERY)AND YOU ARE NOT DISTRACTED BYANYTHING ELSE.
  • HERE, I CHOSE TO USE A MID OVER THE SHOLDERSHOT. I CHOSE THIS SHOT SO THAT THE CHARACTERWHO IS YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO SEE, IS KEPTMYSTERIOUS TO THE VIEWERS AND THAT YOU GETTO SEE MOST OF THE ROOM AND THE OTHERCHARACTERS EXPRESSIONS TOWARDS THISCHARACTER. I THINK THIS SHOT IS GGOD AS ITBUILDS THE NARRATIVE OF THE TRAILER.
  • THIS SHOT IS A CLOSE UP MID SHOT. I WANTED TOUSE THIS SHOT AS I WANTED THIS SCENE TO FEEL‘CRAMPED’ AND ‘CLAUSTROPHOBIC’ SO THAT THEVIEWERS CAN SENSE WHAT THE CHARACTERS AEFEELING. HOWEVER, I THINK THAT THIS SHOT WILL BEMORE EFFECTIVE IF I LOWERED THE ANGLE OF THECAMERA MORE, TO SEEM AS IF THE VIEWERS ARELOOKING UP. ALTHOUGH, I COULD SHOOT IT FROM AHIGH ANGLE LOOKING DOWN INTO THE MIDDLE. IWILL NEED TO TRY OUT ALL 3 WAYS AND USE THEMOST FITTING ONE.
  • I WILL AGAIN USE WORDING TO ESTABLISH WHO THE DIRECTOROF THE FILM IS. I AM NOT SURE IF I WILL USE A VOICE OVER, SOTHIS IS STILL AN EFFICIENT WAY OF GETTING ACROSS TO THEVIEWER THE INFORMATION OF THE FILM.
  • THIS WILL BE A MID SHOT OF 3 CHARACTERS.I CHOSE THIS SHOT SO THAT I CAN HIGHLIGHTTHE RELATIONSHIP OF THESE CHARACTERS TOTHE VIEWER, AND I THINK THE INTIMACY OFA MID SHOT WILL GET THE POINT ACROSSVERY WELL.
  • ALTHOUGH I FIRST THOUGHT THATI WILL TAKE THIS SCENE AS ACLOSE UP, I HAVE NOW REALISEDTHAT A MID SHOT WILL WORKBETTER AS THE AUDIENCE WILLSEE CLEARLY WHAT IS GOING ONIN THE SCENE.
  • I THINK THIS MID SHOT OF ALL THE ACTORSWALKING TOWARDS THE CAMERA IS A GREATWAY OF ENDING THE TRAILER, AS YOU GET TOSEE THE WHOLE CAST AND THIS BUILDS UPEXCITEMENT AND THE FACT THAT THEY ARE ALLTOGETHER SHOWS THAT THE STORY OF THEFILM IS LINKED BETWEED ALL THE CHARACTERSPUT TOGETHER.
  • I CHOSE TO PUT THE NAME OF THEFILM TOWARDS THE VERY END OFTHE TRAILER IN ORDER TO BUILD THEANTICIPATION WITHIN THE VIEWERS.I CHOSE TO USE A SHOT OF THE FILMNAME COMING TOWARDS THESCREEN. THIS WILL BE SOMETHINGTHAT WILL BE DONE IN THE EDITINGOF THE FILM.
  • THIS IS THE DATE OF THE RELEASEOF THE FILM AND THEINFORMATION SUCH ASDIRECTOR, EDITOR, ACTORSNAMES, ETC. HOWEVER, I MAYDECIDE TO PUT THIS INFORMTIONWITH THE FILM NAME.
