HP Enterprise Banking Solutions™ for SAP®Cost-efficient, innovative, technology-enabled solutions for Banks & FinancialInstitutionsOverviewThese are challenging times for Banks and the industry is experiencing radical change. Astill uncertain economic climate is pressurizing increasingly stringent regulatory andcompliance requirements, intensifying global competition and diminishing customer loyalty. In parallel, banks need to rebuild balance sheets and increase ROE while meetingincreasing customer demands. To enable banks to be more cost-efficient and competitive, HP has designed a number ofindustry solutions that provide accelerated time-to-value. All these solutions were developedand are available for demonstration at the HP Banking Labs in Walldorf. Rapid Data Migration for Loans Management: Loans Management is the backbone application of SAP’s Transactional Banking suite. This solution enables the Bank to de-risk and accelerate its Loan Management migration from a legacy application or from an older SAP system, e.g. CML, to the latest SAP Banking Services platform (7.0 / 8.0). HP’s Enterprise Banking Solutions™ for SAP are built on a SOA architecture and provides a framework for all the phases required for a successful, end-to-end migration. In addition to this, this easy-to-use solution delivers tools, pre-defined migration content and rules for each step of the process.
Optimized Risk Management for Banking: A pre-packaged solution that models business partners’ profiles, usage of account limits, etc., in order to assess a bank’s credit risk. This reporting solution enables a bank to better manage risk information overall, and it provides a holistic view of a bank’s exposure and risks at the enterprise level. Leveraging the HANA appliance, the solution gives near real-time answers to questions such as a bank’s risk exposure to specific market bonds, which may usually take hours to calculate. Faster financial reporting / transactional history analysis: Also leveraging the HANA appliance, this solution offers real-time reporting and analysis capability on a very large volume of non-aggregated data coming from sub-ledger postings and/or current account histories. Analysis of large and complex retail banking data can now be obtained at unprecedented speeds. HP’s transactional banking history Proof of Concept demonstrates that the analysis of 100+m postings can be completed in 1.5 seconds. CRM for Banking: Pre-configured environment that enables bank to jumpstart its CRM implementation. The customer can use the solution to validate, develop and test Best Practices and new functionalities. This enables customers to channel immediate cost savings into innovation to create competitive advantage. Mobility for Banking: Provides a templatized full suite of retail banking functionality (including payments and transfers) using mobile devices. The solution includes the capacity to view lists of accounts and account information, to conduct bill payments and fund transfers, to deposit checks remotely, to view and action alerts and notifications, etc.
SAP Banking Reference Architecture: Provides the opportunity to use a cost-efficient, commodity scale-out infrastructure when migrating to or when re-platforming SAP Banking applications. The solution allows a bank to lower significantly its hardware investment without compromising on the performance of the solution. It also significantly reduces the overall TCO of the infrastructure required for mission-critical and high- availability Core Banking applications. Run SAP for Banking: High quality, low-cost alternative for a bank that encounters cost, quality, stability and/or resource issues to run and maintain its SAP Banking applications. This is a life-saver when significant SAP Banking projects are going live without a well- defined future support model. It is also very topical to consider Run SAP for Banking when the IT Run / Invest ratio proves unfavorable and/or when the number of contractors in the SAP implementation team is high. The Solution: HP’s Enterprise Banking Solutions™ for SAP®Rapid Data Migration for Loans Management:
