It has carrier class high availability and resiliency features.  The MSR50 Series is a high performance branch router that delivers up to 1280Kpps and 2Gbps of routing, firewall, NAT, and QoS. The MSR50 offers converged branch in a box routing, security, switching, wireless, and voice services all in single device.The HP 6608 and HP MSR50 is currently racked and configured with the Spirent Test Center.Chris:

To put this test into a TCO perspective, the HP 6608 delivers 108Mpps in ONE box compared to up to FIVE boxes from the competition.As a result, customers can save up to 77% on rack space and up to 92% on power.Also, to reduce operating cost, HP routers feature a single unified OS across all router lines. HP offers a unified management system, called HP IMC for centralized or single pane of glass management.For very large campus environments, the HP 6616 router has 8 line cards that have the capability to achieve twice the performance of the HP 6608.
