  3. 3. The Mouth<br />First part of the digestive system, where food enters the body<br />Chewing and salivary enzymes in the mouth are the beginning of the digestive process<br />
  4. 4. The Escophagus<br />Is a long tube between the mouth and the stomach <br />Uses rhythmic muscle movements to force food from the throat into the stomach<br />
  5. 5. The Small Intestine<br />The small intestine is divided into 3 segments<br />The 3 segments are the duodenum, jejunum, and ileum<br />
  6. 6. The Large Intestine<br />parts of the food that can’t be digested get pushed into the large intestine<br />The large intestine is also called the colon.<br />
