  • 1. HI!
  • 2. We started today's class with a small tutorial on  LaTeX. It is basically sofware that allows you  to write equations just by typing it in. Mr.K is  currently trying to get this to work on our blogs  quickly, easily and automatically. (I can't find the site that Mr.K had) (Sorry)
  • 3. We then moved onto a Mean  Value Theorem question
  • 4. Find the number in the given interval which staisfies the conclusion of the  Mean Value Theorem
  • 5. Find the number in the given interval which staisfies the conclusion of the  Mean Value Theorem
  • 6. Find the number in the given interval which staisfies the conclusion of the  Mean Value Theorem
  • 7. Find the number in the given interval which staisfies the conclusion of the  Mean Value Theorem
  • 8. Find the number in the given interval which staisfies the conclusion of the  Mean Value Theorem So the value 1  must exist in the  derivative.
  • 9. Find the number in the given interval which staisfies the conclusion of the  Mean Value Theorem
  • 10. Find the number in the given interval which staisfies the conclusion of the  Mean Value Theorem
  • 11. Find the number in the given interval which staisfies the conclusion of the  Mean Value Theorem
  • 12. Find the number in the given interval which staisfies the conclusion of the  Mean Value Theorem Then just find the roots by using the quadratic formula
  • 13. Find the number in the given interval which staisfies the conclusion of the  Mean Value Theorem The just find the roots by using the quadratic formula... and we get...
  • 14. We must now explore cases  where k is negative and positive  on a number line.
