What is GreenDeals?GreenDeals.org is a flash sale/daily deal website launched in 2010 to promote green products and services from Green Business Network members.A featured GreenDeal requires a minimum discount of 30% off retail and GreenDeals takes a percentage of sales.3-5 featured deals are launched each week and run for 10-12 days.In addition to the featured deals and coupons, we feature Green Tips, Blog, and Sweepstakes.

How large is GreenDeals.org?- Website Traffic: 40,000-50,000 visitors per month- 120,000-150,000 page views per month- Facebook: 6,000 fans- Twitter: 16,000 followers- Email Database: 160,000

GreenDeals Launches MarketplaceExpected launch: July 15-20, 2012 GreenDeals is launching the Marketplace, an ecommerce shopping portal, similar to Amazon.com but for Green Business Members only.- Products are featured on Marketplace.GreenDeals.org and sold at retail price. (MSRP)- Weekly discounts on select items (10-25% off)

How it Works: Merchant DetailsAll merchants that sell a physical product are eligible to participate in the MarketplaceHow it works:1- Products are featured on Marketplace2- Consumers purchase products and pay at marketplace.GreenDeals.org3- Merchants are responsible for shipping and fulfilling orders (Drop Ship Only)4- Merchants have real-time access to reporting to track sales and orders (3-5 day shipping expected from merchants)5- GreenDeals submits payments to vendors each Friday (for previous Friday-Thursday sales) - via Paypal (preferred) or Check (3-5 business days)

How it Works: Cost & Setup FeesCost: GreenDeals pays Wholesale Price for products.Setup Fee- Up to 5 products (no setup fee)- 6-15 products ($50 setup fee)- 16-30 products ($100 setup fee)- 30+ products ($250 setup fee )Shipping- Shipping costs need to be fixed or included in the cost of the product due to limitations of our system.Vendor Sales Email- Vendor email will be sent each time a new order is placed at Marketplace

Creative Requirements- Merchant should complete the excel sales document (Sales rep will email upon request) (product listing, description, SKU, product options, inventory, image url, wholesale cost, MSRP, etc.)- Product description: Provide copy for each product (25-50 words per product)- Product options: We can offer options such as size and/or color at checkout- Images: Accept url images or image files 400x400 (JPEG, GIF)- Products will be added within 7 days from receipt of all documents based upon bandwidth

Product & Checkout:

Merchant Reporting- Merchants have reporting access with order information, ability to download orders, add tracking numbers to each order, update business info, and view all sales history.- Any product changes and additions must be handled by the GreenDeals staff.

Merchant Issues: Shipping and ReturnsReturns & Exchanges- In the case that there is a return or exchange from a customer, GreenDeals will work with the merchant to make sure the return & exchange occurs promptly. It’s the responsibility of the merchant to work with customers on all returns and exchanges.- Merchants can list products as “final sale” with no returns or exchanges allowed. This information will be listed on product details.Shipping- All orders should be shipped within 3-5 days from order date.- Merchants are strongly urged to add tracking numbers to all orders and update these in the vendor reporting- Exceptions: Products “made on order” may take longer to ship and we need to list these details on product descriptions and alert customers via email following purchases.
