This Is Green Being Nancy

 1. 1. This is GreenBeing Nancy. Teaching my children to be self-reliant. How green can I go?
 2. 2. Let me try with these socks. So worn out! What can I do with them?
 3. 3. Use them as duster. Moisten it up a bit and… … slip it on your hand.
 4. 4. Dirty! Wash it? Not yet! Turn back to front. You can still use it.
 5. 5. Wash it now? Turn it inside out! 2 more sides to use.
 6. 6. Place moist sock on your leg.
 7. 7. See this yucky on the floor?
 8. 8. Not using hands! Not bending.
 9. 9. There! Its gone…
 10. 10. There is one more here…
 11. 11. Not a problem. Back’s not aching.
 12. 12. There its gone!

 14. 14. Save water!

The material for socks are usually thick. So,

it is great for cleaning stuff that you don’t

really want to lay your hands on.

Wash only after it has been used from

the out side and in. It is small and make

washing easy for kids to handle.

Throw it when it is too dirty to wash.

 15. 15. Make Cleaning Fun

Here, Callie. Can

you help me dust

that out?

Have fun. Thank

you.

Duster
