  12. 12. 1 Corinthians 15:44<br />[44] it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.<br />
  13. 13. But: This does not teach an identity shift!<br />
  14. 14. 2) What about there being no marriage?<br />
  15. 15. Matthew 22:30<br />[30] “For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven. <br />
  16. 16. But: The relation of marriage is ended, but not the memory of it.<br />
  17. 17. 3) What about knowing those who won’t get to heaven?<br />
  18. 18. But: We know God can comfort us.<br />
  19. 19. What We Find: Descriptions of Heaven<br />
  20. 20. Genesis 25:8<br />[8] Abraham breathed his last and died in a ripe old age, an old man and satisfied with life; and he was gathered to his people. <br />
  21. 21. 2 Samuel 12:23<br />[23] “But now he has died; why should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I will go to him, but he will not return to me.”<br />
  22. 22. John 14:3<br />[3] “If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.<br />
  23. 23. Luke 13:24-30<br />[29] “And they will come from east and west and from north and south, and will recline at the table in the kingdom of God. <br />
  24. 24. Heaven is a place of reunion<br />and being together!<br />
  25. 25. “Faith is the Christian’s foundation, hope is his anchor, death is his harbor, Christ is his pilot, and heaven is his country.”<br />
