1. The circumference of a circular flower bed is 47.1 m. What is
its area? (Use 𝜋 = 3.14)
2. The area of a trapezoidal garden with the bases of 45 and 30
is 150 m2
. What is the value of height?

 Ask the pupils: How do we solve problems involving areas of
trapezoids and circle?
 In solving problems involving areas of Trapezoids and
Circle. First, identify the question and relevant facts.

strategy and lastly, verify if the answer is correct.

 The trapezoidal field has a circular fishpond surrounded by a
carabao grass. How many square meters of grass were used to
surround it?

long. The distance across these sides is 7 m. What is the area of a
carpet that would fit the room?

The area of a trapezoidal garden with the bases of 45 and 30 is 150 m2 . What is the value of height? Fixing Skills  Solve these problems. 1. The circumference of a circular clock is 25 cm. What is its area? 2. The area of a trapezoidal garden with the bases of 10 m and 20 m is 150 𝑚2 . What is the value of its height? 3. Generalization  Ask the pupils: How do we solve problems involving areas of trapezoids and circle?  In solving problems involving areas of Trapezoids and Circle. First, identify the question and relevant facts. Second, use appropriate formula. Third, perform the strategy and lastly, verify if the answer is correct. 4. Application  The trapezoidal field has a circular fishpond surrounded by a carabao grass. How many square meters of grass were used to surround it?
