  2. 2. Objectives• To promote the Samsung Galaxy S4 whichaido.com was selling online• To generate buzz in Dubai, UAE for S4 as wellas Aido.com• To drive traffic to their website

Concept• S4 was launched in UAE but not many websites wereselling it• This is where Aido.com had an edge over the rest• So, we came up with the idea of asking tweeplesreasons why they would buy an S4 and in the processgenerate significant buzz for the same• Hence, the hashtag #4ReasonsToBuyS4 was born asit is catchy and serves the purpose

  5. 5. Why did we choose this hashtag?• Samsung GalaxyS4 was the hot trending topic• This hashtag was capable of attractingresponses• The topic was capable of generatingexcitement among tweeples
  6. 6. So, what did we do?• We used various visual depictions• These images were paired with tweets• Hashtags like #S4, #Samsung, #Galaxy, #Dubai,#UAE were used to amplify the reach of ourtweets• The same contest was promoted on Facebooktoo to further boost participation

  8. 8. Guess what? We were trending!
  9. 9. What did we achieve?• Reach: 121,862• New Followers: 86• Entries: 3896• Unique entries: 197• Mentions: 1619• ReTweets: 2175• 796 clicks on the Galaxy S4 page on thewebsite
  10. 10. Things we can learn!• Identify and create opportunities for a #tag contest• Better the incentives, better the participation• Do not limit the number of tweets. Let people tweetas many times as they want• Choose a hashtag which is self explanatory• Make ‘follow us’ a mandatory condition to gain morefollowers• Run the contest for at least 2 days
