The legacy of centuries that includes monuments of architecture and masterpieces of art is perfectlycombined with Polish nature and its original landscapes. Millions of tourists visit Polandevery year.<br />
  3. 3. Magic City - Kraków<br />This historic city with old walls and numerous museums used to be a king 's residence and <br />a center of civilization<br />spreading culture all over Poland. Here is the Wawel – the seat of Polish kings and the place of their coronations; StMary’sChurch with its famous change by VeitStoss; the Main Market Square – the largest medieval town square inEurope; Kazimierz – a unique district of Kraków that used to be a separate Jewish town; and the JagiellonianUniversity– the oldest Poland’s college with its famous CollegiumMaius.<br />

  5. 5. Wieliczka Salt Mine<br />One of Europe’s oldest factory enterprises in continuous<br />operation since the 13th century. The country’s<br />great resource of riches for centuries, it is now considered<br />to be one of the best-known and most willingly visited<br />tourist attractions in Poland. The tourist route is 3.5 kilometers long and leads<br />through over twenty chambers and chapels.<br />

  7. 7. GenocideCommemorated<br />The scene of suffering of millions of people during World War II. The largest Nazi concentration camp in German-occupied Europe. Here the Germans were carrying out their plan of killing the whole nations, mainly Jews and Poles.<br />

  9. 9. Białowieża National Park<br />The Białowieża Forest is <br />a symbol of Poland’s naturalwealth and diversity. The international experts recognizedits unique value and the Białowieża National Parkwas included on UNESCO’s World Heritage List as well<br />as on UNESCO’s List of World Biosphere Reserves.<br />

  11. 11. Warsaw<br />The historic center of Warsaw is an exception on UNESCO’s World Cultural Heritage List. It’s the only urban complex almost entirely reconstructed after the World War II total destruction. The contemporary Warsaw is a big city, Poland’s capital and its cultural, scientific, educational and tourist center.<br />

  13. 13. Old City of Zamość<br />Old City of Zamość is  located in the heart of the city. In 1992 he was inscribed on the UNESCO list.<br />

ToruŃ<br />Toruń is a city widely known in Poland and also far beyond its borders all that thanks to the great astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus and to the flavor of the famous Toruniangingerbread as well as to the charm and character of one of Europe’s most beautiful old towns. The Old Town of Toruń was included on UNESCO’s World Heritage List in 1997.<br />

  17. 17. MalborkCastle<br />Malbork Castle is one of the largest group of Gothic architecture in the world. Between 1309 to 1457 the castle in Malbork was the seat of the Grand Master of the Teutonic Knights. <br />In 1997 he was included in the UNESCO World <br />Heritage List.<br />

  19. 19. KalwariaZebrzydowska<br />KalwariaZebrzydowska<br />One of Poland’s major pilgrimage destinations. The whole complex of chapels was built over the surrounding hills in the unusual landscape of the BeskidMakowski. They all form the KalwariaZebrzydowska Religious and Landscape Park registered on UNESCO’s World Cultural.<br />

  21. 21. Churches of Peace in <br />Jaworand Świdnica<br />Churches of Peace in Jaworand Świdnicaare the largest wooden buildings of the functions of religion in Europe. In 2001, they were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage Site.<br />

  23. 23. WoodenChurches of Małopolska and Podkarpackie<br />This southeastern region of Poland is full of medium-size mountainsand colourful landscapes. Here we can find wooden Orthodox and Roman- Catholic churches perfectly fitted into their natural environment. Some of these churches are several hundred years old and six were inscribed on UNESCO’s World Cultural Heritage List.<br />

  25. 25. Muskauer Park<br />Occupying more than 1700 acres, it’s one of the largest landscape parks in Europe. It area on both sides<br />of the NysaŁużycka River that make the Polish-German state border. The larger part of the park (over1200 acres) is located on the Polish side, while the German part occupies the neighborhood of Bad Muskau(Mużaków).<br />

  27. 27. Centennial Hall<br />Centennial Hall- a sports hall located in the Park Szczytnicki in Wroclaw. Built in the years 1911-1913. In 2006 it was listed as a piece of UNESCO World Heritage.<br />
