  2. 2. ACTIVE VOICE  The active voice is our normal form of speak. In the active voice, the subject receives the action of the verb. Active Subject Verb object People play football.
  3. 3. PASSIVE VOICE  The passive voice is less usual. We use the passive when we want to make the active object more important than the active subject Passive Subject Verb Object Football is played by people.
