Public Use<br />VoIP telephones at home allow people to place calls anywhere in the<br /> world, the cost of running a VoIP phone is less than a local telephone<br /> company, and you can keep your existing phone number. It mainly<br /> works by paying a monthly subscription fee for unlimited domestic calls.<br />
  • 3. Private Use<br />Skype is a software application that allows users to make peer-to-peer<br /> voice and video calls over the Internet for free at anytime.<br />Skype is a very useful business tool which is used to stay<br />in touch with clients worldwide.<br />
  • 4. Corporate Use<br />In 2011, Microsoft bough Skype for $85. billion to give<br />them a boost in the competitive communications market. <br />It gave them the chance to develop a must-have application<br />when the windows phone is released to compete against<br />software giant Apple and their communication platform, Facetime.<br />
