After graduating, she did a year of civil service and then she started a PhD in Management. However, she soon realized that her true path was the entrepreneurship one. The idea of moku was born during university and came from her student needs. She wanted to change the way that the informative system worked (huge amounts of printed slides and handouts, waste of time and money, very little collaboration between students), so she left her PhD and put all energy into moku, together with her friends and classmates Simone and Michele. Founder of Moku Moku is a collaborative document management and note-taking web app.  You can upload your docs (PDFs, MS Office, iWork, images) and take rich notes over transparent layers. A moku is a collection of docs where you can put your material and share it with your friends and colleagues: the docs are available to every participant of the moku and everyone can add other files.  We are developing a feature that synchs the audio recordings to the notes moku.io
