May arrives to the appointment, all dressed up and smelling of Spring, on time for his Mother Nature Show.

May is a talented actor that interprets every time the same role as if it was new, so the perennial performance is always a surprise,

even when we see it year after year.

Reaching the theather is easy:

you’ve got to follow the path among the trees in the woods or on the outskirts of the town.

You may find it at the city parks

or wherever there’s a water stream, sitting down every once in a while to wonder at the endless display of green tones

offered by every shrub, every leaf, and every tender sprout.

During our walk we wonder at the magnificent spectacle of flowers, all beautiful, all different.

We reach a conservatory: an almost unbelievable concentration of perfumes, colours and sensations.

We marvel at the sight

and the splendour of nature.

Come on, no more delays,

let’s book a seat in the first row: this is a spectacle worth seeing and sharing!

May is just there in the middle of the stage, under the shadow of the rose trees, among the lillies and the marigolds and the campanula tiny bells.

Hurry up, we’ve got an appointment with Mother Nature!
