  • 3. EXCLUSIVE POWERS Exclusive Powers refer to the separation of powers between state and federal governments.
  • 4. EXCLUSIVE POWERS For instance the state government can only issue licenses, and the federal government can only print money.
  • 5. National Powers: State Powers: • Print Money • Issue Licenses • International Trade • Regulate Businesses • Make Treaties • Conduct Elections • Declare War • Establish Local • Provide an Army and Navy Governments • Take Measures for Public Health and Safety • Make Laws
  • 6. CONCURRENT POWERS The Concurrent Powers are those powers that both the National Government & the States Government posses and excersices.
  • 7. CONCURRENT POWERS For instance the Concurrent Powers include: • Collect Taxes • Define Crimes & Set Punishments for them • To Condemn • To take private property for public use
