Embedding YouTube into Powerpoint 2007A brief “how to” guide

Open PPT 2007Enable DEVELOPER tabThis is found in the Powerpoint Options menu, which is to be found at the bottom of the list of Recent Documents which appear when you press the Office Button (top left hand corner of the screen)Click in the relevant box to Show Developer Tab in the ribbon

Click Developer and choose “More controls”...

Scroll down to “Shockwave Flash Object” and click OK

Drag out a boxRight click on boxChoose PROPERTIES

Go to You Tube / Teacher Tube / GeoTube and select the video you want to embed...Copy the URL of the video.

Paste the URL into the MOVIE line of the Properties box

Change the section in URLwatch?v=so that it saysv/i.e. Remove watch? And change = to /

Can change LOOP from TRUE to FALSE, and other PROPERTIES as well if required...

Watch the video when slideshow plays...Can also set to play AUTOMATICALLYVideo: Birds on Wire by JarbasAgnelli
