Do you need to vary the zero output of your melt transmitter in varying amounts in addition to the
standard Auto Zero? Well, you can!
Simply hold the Magnetic Pen over the target for 10-30 seconds and the unit will begin the Fine Auto
Zero sequence. It will be important to monitor the pressure display or the actual electrical output
during this process. Once activated, the output will begin decreasing in 5 second intervals. Each interval
will reduce the output by 6mV for voltage output models and 12uA for current output models. Simply
touch the magnetic pen to the target to immediately stop the function. The maximum change will be
+100mV or +1.6mA. Once the output reaches the minimum value without being stopped, it will reverse
until it reaches the maximum value in the positive direction.
