is the "Boom" and the snare is the "Snap" of what we usually hear the "Boom and Snap".
So, trying to use some hard hitting and booming kick at the low end will get the
audience wanted to stand up to dance.
2) The Percussions - All beats has different percussions. But what is percussions
actually? It is the background music of your beats that actually determine the genre of
your music beats. It can be made up by a lot of different instruments from the regular
instruments that we normally hear. And I found Timbaland to be very good in making
this unique twist. Master this and your hiphop will have the grooving effect that gets

3) The Snare - Now you can easily find this in the 2nd and 4th of your beat usually. As
aforementioned, this is the "Snap" that will jump out from your beat to get audience
attention. Some of the good examples are Forever and Eminem. Try listening to them
more often and you will discover how they use the snare in their beats to get your heart
pumping hard.
