Here we target specially the wireless applications based on the client server architecture. As we are moving towards 4G communication world, we are trying to put more and more services on your mobile terminal, offered through the cellular systems. Because of the limited memory and processing capability of the mobile handsets, Client/Server technologies are coming as right design possibilities for these services. This course presents all the advanced components of client server technology and wireless networking protocols. SS7 is used to support the signaling of wireless networks. Its flexibility and reliability allowed it to be used in mobile cellular systems. As well as its ability to establish calls, it is also used to support advanced features through Intelligent Networking (IN) interaction including CAMEL (Customized Applications for Mobile network Enhanced Logic). This technology has evolved through a number of phases, with each progressively offering more services to mobile subscriber. As more 2G and 3G networks embrace the CAMEL standard, the variety of services available will increase dramatically. This module includes learning of advance computer networks, switching and signaling protocols with a practical emphasis on client/server architecture. Here we learn the RPC based communication protocol implementation. We do some real time projects of audio streaming and implementation of FTP client and server modules with security features.
