Do not add to the scriptures. (Deuteronomy 4:2)
Speak by experience. (Deuteronomy 4:3)
Do not forget what God has done. (Deuteronomy 4:9)
Do not forget about God. (Deuteronomy 4:15-19)

Develop your faith:
Study your personal relationship. (Deuteronomy 6:1-9)
Fear the Lord. (Deuteronomy 6:2)
Love the Lord. (Deuteronomy 6:5)
Teach others the same. (Deuteronomy 6:7-9)
Live a life of gratitude. (Deuteronomy 6:10-12)

Teach by example:
Live as if God owns everything. (Deuteronomy 10:14)
Maintain your commitment (Deuteronomy 10:17-18)
Worship God. (Deuteronomy 10:20-22)
