Knowledge of God “We must observe that the knowledge of God which we are invited to cultivate is not that which, resting satisfied with empty speculation, only flutters in the brain, but a knowledge which will prove substantial and fruitful whenever it is duly percieved and rooted in the heart.” (John Calvin)
  • 3. Knowledge and Action “My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge.” (Hosea 4.6)
  • 4. Knowledge and Action “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” (James 1.22)
  • 5. Moses - Knowledge and Action • He knew and acted upon the Lord’s command • Moses was taught about God and his people. (Hebrews 11.23)
  • 6. Moses - Knowledge and Action “Come and I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring My people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt.” (Exodus 3.10)

  • 15. Are you ready to take action? Do you consider the reproach of Christ greater than the wealth of the present world?
  • 16. Knowing God and Acting The World • The Almighty created it. • The Most High God cares for it
  • 17. Knowing God and Acting You • The Lord provides for you and does not leave you alone. • The Lord is your banner (encouragement) because He will win the battle.
  • 18. Knowing God and Acting You • The Lord provided an opportunity for you to have peace with Him through His Son. • Is He your Lord God?
