    The lesson teaches that any organization will not go as high as the leader(s) of the organization.
  • 3. The Spiritual Law of the Lid
    The lesson teaches that any organization will not go as high as the leader(s) of the organization.
    “Your light will only shine as bright as your faith will allow.”
  • 4. The Church Law of the Lid
    The members will not rise above the spiritual leadership found in the congregation.
    If the leaders do not want to grow, the member will not want to grow.
    If the leaders are apathetic, the members will become apathetic.

    The shepherds (elders) must be men of leadership.
    The leadership must be willing and not forced. (Do you really want to follow someone who has been forced to be a leader?)
    Others must see them as leaders.

    The shepherds (elders) must be men of leadership.
    Others must respect them as leaders. (Do you really want to follow someone you do not respect?)
    They must not abuse their leadership. (As Peter said, “not lording over the flock.”)
    They must communicate.

    The shepherds must be growing spiritually.
    Do they have a plan for personal growth?
    Do they have a plan for congregational growth?
    Do they communicate the congregation plan?

    The shepherds must lead.
    They need to be men of action and not just words.
    They must have followers. (Those followers must respect and honor the leaders and they will follow the shepherds)
    The followers must be willing to lead. (This speaks of the character and work of the shepherds.)

    The shepherds must be growing spiritually.
    The shepherds must lead.

    Are you growing in able to lead others to the gospel?
