Who was Lot?
Abraham’s nephew (Genesis 12.5; 13.1)
Lot appears to be wealthy. (Genesis 13.5-7)
Lot was given a choice.

What Did Lot Choose?
“So Lot chose for himself all the Jordan Valley, and Lot journeyed east.”
(Genesis 13.11; ESV)

Consequences of Lot’s Choice?
Kidnapped during war. (Genesis 14.1:16)
Rioted against (Genesis 19.4-10)
Loss of possessions (Genesis 19.24, 25)
Loss of his wife (Genesis 19.26)

Are you like Lot?
