• The lyrics consist of different scenarios the
character ‘Heavy D’ will be going through
when trying to get the girl.
• The lyrics consist of the rapper telling the girl
about how she only wants expensive clothing
and jewellery to win her heart and saying how
he doesn’t need to pay for her to know that
he loves her.

3. Ideas
• We have different ideas to interpret a more futuristic
setting for the video as it is already quite old.
• We are planning on bringing the video more into the
21st century to make it more modern.
• Making a lot of changes to characters and setting as
well as costume.

4. Theme
• Our theme will remain based around the same
subject of ‘boy chases girl’
• The video will consist of a the main character ‘Heavy
D’ chasing after a girl, following her about in her daily
life.
• Overall the video will be quite humorous and aimed
at an audience of young people.

5. Recce
• Our film will be set in many different areas.
We decided to use well known areas like parks
and main roads to help set the theme for the
love/romance rap.
• There will be close ups of the main rapper as
he follows the girl around whilst singing to her
about how much he loves her.

6. Ending
• The film will end by the main artist being
rejected so many times that he goes for
another girl, after this the girl then feels
rejected and she then falls for the ‘Heavy D’.
She then wants him, but by then its too late.
