  2. 2.  The past continuous is in use for actions that happened in a specific moment in the past. As the constant present, he is formed with the verb " to be " and the gerund.  To form the past continuous the auxiliary verb is in use " to be " and the gerund (infinitive + "-ing") of the verb. The auxiliary verb " to be " is in the simple past, but bear in mind that " to be " it is an irregular verb. Sujeto Auxiliar (to be) I, He, She, It was You, We, They were Gerundio talking, eating, learning, doing, going... talking, eating, learning, doing, going...

  5. 5.  The present continuous tense, also known as the present progressive tense in some grammar books, is one of the most often used tenses in English. It is important to remember that the present continuous tense is generally used to express something happening at the moment of speaking. It is not used to express everyday habits and routines. Everyday habits and routines are expressed using the present simple tense. It is also important to remember that the present continuous is only used with action verbs and not stative verbs.

  9. 9.  To form the continuous future use auxiliary verbs "will" and "to be" and the gerund (infinitive + "-ing") of the main verb or you can use the auxiliary verb "to be" and "going to be".  Note: In the negative the negative auxiliary phrases "not" goes between the auxiliary verbs "will" and "be" or between "to be" and "going to be".  Note: In interrogative sentences the subject is between the auxiliary verbs "will" and "be" or between "to be" and "going to be". Sujeto Auxiliares Gerundio talking, eating, learning, doing, I will be / am going to be going... talking, eating, learning, doing, He, She, It will be / is going to be going... talking, eating, learning, doing, You, We, They will be / are going to be going...
