If you have such large flow rates (1 m3/hr) coming into the pit, the main option would be in-pit pumping using sump pumps. The challenges are to allow that rate of water to reach the sumps without causing geotechnical instability or erosion (if the material is unconsolidated or weekly cemented). The exposed saturated face may need to be cut back at a shallow angle to avoid instability. If you can access the upper edge of the face it may be possible to drill wells there and pump from them to try and intercept the water before it reaches the face.  2 days ago
