In this video, the aerial footage which is filmed on a remote controlled flying camera (drone), of a proportion of the GW Group farm property S.Maria I&II is shown. The video shows how extensive the site is, showing the large array of Eucalyptus, Acacia trees
At the beginning of the video,(0:10 seconds) you can see the GW Group nursery area for seedling/saplings. Here the seedling are all acclimatized (adjusted to the climate) and checked for any possible defects that they may have. GW Group only plant the healthiest seedlings too ensure quality is at it's highest. This part of GW Group has proven itself several times over, as the growth rates have all been over those projected by the company.
Throughout the video you can also see the fire breaks in place to insure possible damages are kept to a minimum. These fire breaks are in place as a security measure, but the chance of a fire starting or spreading is very low, as we have around 100 professional farmers keeping the sites under control. As an added bonus, the acacia trees (with a diamater of 7cm+) are fire resistant making them a natural fire break.
We hope you enjoy the video.
