  • The Defense Innovation Marketplace is a one-stop source for Department of Defense (DoD) science and technology (S&T) planning, acquisition resources, funding and financial information.
For Industry: The Marketplace is a resource for information about Department of Defense (DoD) investment priorities and capability needs.
Additionally, industry uses this site to submit proprietary IR&D summary reports which are separately stored, accessed and used solely for compliance with the Defense Federal Acquisition Supplement at 48 CFR 231.205-18(c)(iii)(C).
For Government: The Marketplace provides access to search tools to assess and then leverage industry IR&D projects for current and future programs.
  • Site provides Defense Department-wide and service-specific strategic planning documents and resources outlining how to do business with the DoD
Includes links to services, combatant commands, DoD laboratories, FFRDCs/UARCs, and other DoD Agencies/offices
Provides direct links into “Federal Business Opportunities” – federal government’s on-line acquisition system
Includes section dedicated to Small Business
  • Small Business Resources page includes information about the DoD SBIR program and contact information for each of the component SBIR leads
The page provides links to element small business units web-pages across the DoD (includes some Intel organizations)
This page also features links to Fed Biz Opps
  • DoD TechMatch is a web-based portal designed to provide industry and academia a Department of Defense-sponsored solution to find Research & Development Opportunities, Licensable Patents, and information on approximately 120 DoD Labs located across the United States. Registered users will receive a daily e-mail taking them to their matching R&D opportunities from FedBizOpps, Grants.gov, and SBIR/STTR solicitations; Calendar events; and Licensable Patents relevant to your business.
  • DIA maintains an Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP) that establishes and maintains liaisons with local Chambers of Commerce, industry and trade groups, state and local governments, and other Federal agencies to promote and enhance opportunities for those organizations that fall within the purview of the programs the office supports.
The OSBP is responsible for identifying opportunities suitable for small business participation at the prime and subcontracting level.
The OSBP Director provides aid and assistance to small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses to include 8(a), service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, HubZone small businesses, women-owned small businesses, and historically black colleges and universities and minority institutions.
  • NGA maintains an aggressive Small Business Strategy including a robust Small Business Programs Office (SBPO). It seeks to continue small business involvement with new acquisitions, encourage partnering with large businesses to provide subcontracting and Mentor-Protégé opportunities, conduct aggressive outreach efforts to reach more small businesses, increase the number of Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) contract awards, and actively communicate with Small Businesses
The site includes links to NGA’s robust Mentor-Protégé, SBIR, and CRADA programs
  • The NSA Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP) seeks to ensure that small businesses, veteran-owned small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, HUBZone small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, and woman-owned small businesses have the maximum opportunity to participate in NSA acquisitions.
    The website includes links to:
Conferences and Events Schedule - The NSA Acquisition Organization conducts a variety of outreach initiatives for the purpose of establishing partnerships with industry, academia, and other local, state, and federal government entities.
"Pathway to Success" Briefing – The briefing is designed to assist new vendors, large and small, in learning about NSA, its needs, and special programs intended to enhance its industrial base. Information on both internal and external marketing opportunities will be provided as well.
Technology Expositions/Vendor Showcases - Events are designed to provide NSA personnel with a convenient opportunity to observe the latest technologies of interest to NSA and to provide companies with a cost- and time-effective forum to demonstrate their capabilities.
Business in A Minute - Event consists of focused meetings scheduled throughout the day between industry representatives, NSA prime contractors, and NSA government offices. Industry representatives have 15 minutes to present their best case for doing business with NSA to the prime contractors and government offices. Hosts, in response, either schedule a follow-up meeting with the company or advise the company that their products/services are not of current interest or must be further researched.
NSA/AFCEA Mission & Acquisition Symposium - NAMAS is an annual classified event held in the spring that provides detailed information on NSA's intentions for the future. NSA provides industry with current, relevant mission and acquisition information, such as current and upcoming focus areas, near-term solicitation schedules, and long-term government business forecasts. The symposium is intended to strengthen NSA's partnership with Industry and support Industry's strategic business planning.
NAIPE - The OSBP in conjunction with AFCEA, hosts the NSA Acquisition/Industry Partnership Exchange (NAIPE). The conference is unclassified and attendees must be from companies actively working/under contract with NSA and/or PISA Program participants. NAIPE is designed to give NSA Industry contractors the opportunity to meet with representatives from select Agency organizations to discuss issues they are experiencing while doing business with the Agency. The event consists informative breakout sessions and presentations by Acquisition executives.

  • The ARC is designed to provide acquisition information to the NRO community and industry partners. There are two versions of the ARC. An UNCLASSIFIED and a TS//SI/TK version available on the CWAN/GWAN. Individual acquisition efforts will generally be posted on one network or the other, but not both.
The ARC identifies Acquisition Center of Excellence (ACE) facilities with classified reading rooms (Virginia, California, Colorado, and Texas)
Biannually, the ACE hosts an Industry Overview in detailing how to do business with the NRO and answer your questions in Chantilly, Virginia
The page also includes a link to the NRO Director’s Innovation Initiative
  • The Director's Innovation Initiative (DII) provides a risk-tolerant environment to invest in cutting edge technologies and high payoff concepts relevant to the NRO’s mission of "Innovative Overhead Intelligence Systems for National Security."
The DII is the NRO’s primary program to identify key concepts and ideas from developers not traditionally associated with the NRO.  To do this, the program solicits far beyond the traditional NRO contractor base to tap into the talent available in all types of U.S. organizations.
The projects focus on NRO R&D thrusts such as developing new intelligence sources and methods to solve intractable intelligence problems.  It is NOT looking for incremental improvements; instead the projects chosen focus on making orders of magnitude improvements in efficiency and effectiveness, trying to expand the frontiers of detection, exploitation and processing.
The DII is committed to providing continuous access to the most revolutionary concepts and ideas & fosters innovation by providing seed funding to push the boundaries of technology in order to dramatically improve the nation’s satellite reconnaissance capabilities.
The DII provides an opportunity for developers not traditionally associated with the NRO to participate.
  • The FBI’s Small Business Programs Office (SBPO) advocates for small, minority, service-disabled veteran, Historically Underutilized Business Zone, and women-owned small businesses. The SBPO promotes the use of small businesses throughout the Bureau, to include its 56 field offices.
As the FBI is a Department of Justice (DOJ) agency, the SBPO receives policy direction and guidance from the director of DOJ’s Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU).
The site includes links to DOJ OSDBU Outreach Events including its monthly vendor outreach sessions. Each of the Department of Justice agencies is represented at the sessions, to include the FBI’s small business program staff. Those wishing to participate can register to attend a session by calling the OSDBU staff. Scheduling begins at noon EST/EDT on the first work day of each month.
The sessions are held at: OSDBU, Two Constitution Square (145 N Street NE, Room 1001, Washington, D.C. 20530) from 9:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m.
  • The Department of Homeland Security, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) works to ensure that small businesses have a fair opportunity to compete and be selected for DHS contracts.
Small Business Vendor Outreach Sessions - The Sessions are a series of pre-arranged 15-minute appointments with Small Business Specialists from various components of the Department of Homeland Security procurement offices, plus several prime contractors who currently have contracts with DHS. These sessions provide the small business community an opportunity to discuss their capabilities and learn of potential procurement opportunities.
The main page also includes a link for DHS Component Small Business Specialists
