2. 2. Recycle

We're all aware of a recycle bin on our PCs. We know the importance of clearing up and recycling and not just dump all our deletions into a folder. Why don't we apply the same concept to the garbage container in our homes, in front of the house or in our locality? Thus, cleaning up our houses, workplace and community is very important. Have you ever given a thought what happens to all the trash? It is also equally important to segregate the garbage - wet kitchen waste; recyclables like plastic, glass, metal or paper; and green garden waste like dry leaves, flowers, and plants. Let's become aware of all these and more .....

 3. 3. Water

We all know that Water is a precious commodity and we need to save and reuse water for future. Can you imagine your children and future generations striving for water? Especially drinking water? Today we can afford to buy - but, what about future needs? Even today, statistics show that one person out of every 5 people in the world does not have clean water to drink. Hence, water harvesting is important and if you make an effort to collect rain water and used water into one corner of your houses, it makes a great saving. Small efforts like fixing a leak immediately, part flush, car washing, proper loading in washing machine and bath shower usage can add up to big savings. Let's all do our best !!

Do not accept plastic carry bags from vendors.

3. Avoid buying food or household products in plastic or styrofoam containers whenever possible. (They cannot be recycled and do not break down in the environment.) 4. Think twice about buying "disposable" products. (They really aren't disposable and are extravagant wastes of the world's resources.) 5. Buy paper products instead of plastic if you must buy "disposables." They break down better in the environment and don't deplete the ozone layer as much.

AT YOUR BUSINESS

1.
