Who we are… <ul><li>The Global Projects Logistics Network ( GPLN ) is the premier non - exclusive professional projects logistics network of independent companies specializing in international projects movements by air, sea and land as well as specialized lifts and the special handling of oversized, out - of - gauge and heavy lift cargo . </li></ul><ul><li>Members must be proven project forwarding professionals. Have made it harder to get in. </li></ul><ul><li>We are now, have always been and will remain non-exclusive. </li></ul><ul><li>Our goal is for the GPLN to be the household name in project logistics. We will achieve this goal through only allowing in project professional companies and not simply go for flags on the map. </li></ul>
  4. 4. GPLN Coverage <ul><li>We are on every inhabited continent. </li></ul><ul><li>We have made up huge ground last year, going from 48 member offices to 97 member offices since our last meeting. </li></ul><ul><li>This is more than doubling in size in less than one year! </li></ul>

  6. 6. Next GPLN Meeting <ul><li>GPLN has a rotation at the moment: Europe to Asia to Middle East </li></ul><ul><li>Americas and Africa can be added when there are more members </li></ul><ul><li>Next rotation: Middle East </li></ul><ul><li>Probable Location: Cairo </li></ul>

Global Project Logistics Newsletter <ul><li>Currently comes quarterly; prints of 1500 which go out to members, prospects, industry professionals and handed out at exhibitions / trade shows </li></ul><ul><li>Are in our 4 th edition </li></ul><ul><li>Have gone from eight pages (four color and four black / white) to eight full color pages. Should expand to twelve pages </li></ul><ul><li>Deadlines will move up from ten days to three weeks prior to next issue </li></ul><ul><li>Next deadline (stories, press releases, photos, announcements, advertisements) is May 2 nd as we will want this in time to make Breakbulk Europe </li></ul>
