    • What is “integrity”?
    • Within the “Oil and Gas industry”: all inspection and monitoring activities that aim to prevent failure
    • In general: all types of preventive maintenance including inspections and therefore a part of maintenance (as long as it isn’t an “independant audit”)
    • Definition:
    • The ability to predict the performance of an asset by application of effective MMM (Management, Monitoring and Maintenance). Bottom line: Certainty that condition is within acceptance limits.
    • Simply stated: “all what is needed to keep the liquid in the pipe”
