2. 1. What is a music magazine? - A music magazine is
a magazine that contains information about and
celebrates music from a particular music genre for
a niche audience.
3. 2. What would you expect to find in a music magazine? – You
would expect to find interviews of different music artists relating to
that magazines music genre , adverts to concerts and images of
concerts, fashion pages; perhaps on how to style yourself like
your favourite music artist, tour dates, gig reviews, the best or
latest music equipment for sale, ring tone downloads, posters or
extras and occasionally film reviews.
4. 1. What images would you expect to find in a music magazine?
– You would expect to find images of instruments related to
that magazines music genre e.g. a n image of a guitar for a
rock related magazine, images of music artists and images of
live performances.
5. 4. Identify general characteristics/features that you would
expect to find in all music magazines – You would expect to
find mainly image lead pages, colourful pages, music artist
information, rule of thirds, a consistent house style and
competitions.
