  3. 3. 1. Isaiah’s vision of a holy God In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple Isaiah 6:1
  4. 4. 1. Isaiah’s vision of a holy God Above him were seraphim, each with six wings … ‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.’ Isaiah 6:2-3
  5. 5. 1. Isaiah’s vision of a holy God Confesses his sinfulness ‘Woe to me!’ …‘I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty’ Isaiah 6:5

  11. 11. 2. How we can Iive a holy life But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do, for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy” 1 Pet 1:15-16

  14. 14. 2. How we can Iive a holy life Develop an obedient spirit As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance 1 Peter 1:14

How we can Iive a holy life Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind Rom 12:1-2
