2. 2. Public Health Services
It refers to the health care with low cost where medical attention is given to the population and where government agencies such as the DIF (Integral Family Development) and SSA (Secretary of Health and Welfare) promote attention to health through campaigns to prevent the development of diseases.
Public Health currently has 82% coverage of the entire Mexican population since 10 years ago when the government implemented the called Popular Insurance that provides medical care to all members of affiliated families.
