Riki and Adam shared Riki: 10 year strategy, join up better services in a more efficient, with better value for customers.
Summer 2010 feedback on past Sustainable Community Strategy. 100 responses collated and strategy deemed no linger fit for purpose. September- December 2010, data collection form Partners on past consultation, strategies and relevant statistics to paint a picture of Gloucester. This was presented in two sessions at GL1 in January 2011 to over 100 partners and residents. Ten topics were covered from Green issues to crime, the economy etc. This was taken away and written into three chapters covering social, economic and environmental and presented to smaller working groups. These chapters will form the basis of action groups when the strategy is delivered. The current draft document combines all this feedback and work with partners but there is still scope to add and amend things and to help us create the vision statement fro Gloucester. Over 250 have feedback on the Vision before it went out for Consultation.

And The City Plan Voluntary Sector Forum 13 th June 2011
The Vision is a draft 10-year strategy which outlines key issues for the city and a number of solutions which will be delivered in Partnership across the City.
Working with partners such as the NHS and Police will help join up services and increase value for money for residents.
The City Plan scope is a 20 year plan which lays out potential development areas in the City and options for future growth. This plan delivers the physical elements of the Vision and will replace the City Councils current Development Framework.
This new Vision and Plan have been designed based directly on what residents and partners have said they wanted, a joined up approach, a clear vision for Gloucester and now it’s time to have your say!
