Evidence for e-safety – so what!!??- Virtually all schools provide an extensive programme of e-safetyto students, staff and parents- We need to make sure that students especially understand therisks- Lessons in ICT or other lessons:- ICT lessons, monitor of progress and assessment of lessons isa natural part of lessons- Other lessons, ICT and safety is part of the standard lessonplan so information about it is recorded and able to beanalysed (e.g. digital literacy and critical use of the internet)
Evidence for e-safety- Whole year group messages:- An assembly week may address all year groups, but it isessential that the message is altered to be relevant to eachyear groups. 11 year olds are very different to 18 year olds!!- Ask the Police – a message from them can hit home harder.- Frog to the rescue!! Forms, quizzes, social networking forlearning helps me to evidence that students understand themessages they get.
