    I don't think so.



    As a conservative I'm not a huge fan of McCain, but he's probably the only person that can beat the democrats due to the media generated hatred of GWB. He will own the center and center right. Hardcore right may hold their noses and vote, or not vote, but they sure as hell ain't voting for the #1 liberal in the senate.



    I smell Mcgovern all over. Obama could lose at least 40 states...

    Sort of a silly presentation. More of a myopic pitch than a true analysis. If it's strategists such as the author of this presentation that are in charge of election strategy all I can say is 'Hello Obama, Mr President'

It’s An Uphill Battle, But … • 29 Republican retirements but good  candidates. Examples: Erik Paulsen, Steve  Austria, Steve Stivers, Darren White, Bill  Posey, Brett Guthrie • Democrats have a significant financial  advantage, funded by trial lawyers & labor  unions, NOT by middle‐class Americans – Republicans were outspent in 1994, 2000, and  2004 ($100 million in 2004!)
  3. Institutional Advantages • RNC vastly better funded than DNC • Superior voter file developed over 10 years • Tested Victory Program that provides  additional money and infrastructure – The RNC‐Victory battlefield overlaps our  battlefield:  Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan
