Do not worry if you don’t have a good answer to all the questions but please try to include as many details (especially numbers) as possible. One of the ways venture capital investors can help is by helping you pull together a more comprehensive plan. Box sizes are a guideline and should not be seen as a word limit. Briefly outline the stage of development the business is currently in (i.e. start-up, about to launch, etc) and what specifically has been achieved to date What is the consumer/customer proposition, and how is it different? The Market Please detail the target market for the venture, ensuring you include reference to: • Target customer base • Estimate on the current and projected size of the market (with key assumptions & calculations) • Geographic scope of opportunity • Levels and description of market research completed / required When completed please submit via the Unilever Ventures website. How does your opportunity differentiate itself from competition? Is this sustainable in the long term? What are the barriers to entry for this type of opportunity (i.e. how ‘easy’ would it be for someone to copy this opportunity?) 4. Technology capability (100 words max) What are the key technology requirements for your venture? What are the main technology challenges? Have you identified a technological breakthrough, or do you have any patents or patent opportunities?
