Faraz joined Centerfield in 2001, and has nine years of experience in private
equity. Prior to joining Centerfield, Faraz was a senior product development
engineer at Praxair. Prior to Praxair he served as sales applications engineer at
Rohm & Haas & Company. Faraz holds a patent in semiconductor processing and
has published finance and semiconductor industry related papers. Faraz is
Chairman of Associated X-Ray Services, LLC, and a board member or observer
of the following Centerfield portfolio companies: A&D Environmental Services,
Inc.; Backyard Products, Inc., Evriholder Products, LLC; SCT, Inc.; Thermafiber,
Inc.; and TCI, LLC (d/b/a Trans-Coil).
Faraz received his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from
University of Texas, and earned an M.B.A. in Finance from the Kelley School of
Business at Indiana University. Faraz has been recognized as Who's Who in
Finance by the Indiana Business Journal and in 2006 and 2007, was a finalist for
Indiana's Best and Brightest. He is an Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship,
Finance and Venture Capital at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business.
Faraz is the President of the Venture Club of Indiana and serves on the Editorial
Advisory Committee of INBIZ magazine. He is a board member and former
Faraz Abbasi treasurer of IndyHub, a member of the Board of Visitors of Butler University's
Partner College of Business, and a founding director and past Vice President of Young
Centerfield Capital Partners Professionals of Central Indiana. Faraz has judged various business and venture

member of the Chicago chapter of Organization of Pakistani Entrepreneurs
(OPEN). Faraz is married and the father of two children.
Dr. Ken Green is one of the Founding Partners of Spring Mill Ventures, an
Indiana based early stage venture capital fund. He has spent over thirty years in
the life sciences industry, including nine years in the practice of medicine,
fourteen years in venture capital, and two years as C.E.O. of a start-up medical
device company. In addition, he has experience in strategic marketing with Bristol
Ken Green represents Spring Mill Ventures at the Board of Directors of
QuadraSpec, SonarMed, CS-Keys, SynTherix and Ifbyphone. He is the
Chairman, External Advisory Board for the IUPUI School of Biomedical
Engineering and serves on the Research Advisory Committee for the
Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana Foundation.
Ken earned his medical degree from the University of Toronto and has an
M.B.A. from the Kenan Flagler School of Business at the University of North
Carolina, Chapel Hill.

John Hanak, Statewide Director of the Purdue Technology Centers – the
Purdue Research Foundation's network of technology business incubators in
Indiana, has held officer-level positions at a Fortune 500 metals manufacturer, a
middle-market machine-building company and a start-up technology firm.
Additionally, Mr. Hanak co-founded a technology commercialization and
consulting firm – North Riverside Partners; and a small investment partnership –
Prior to arriving at the Purdue Technology Centers in 2005 and co-founding
North Riverside Partners in 2003, Mr. Hanak served as President, C.E.O. and
board member of Digital Innovations, a Chicago-based technology product
development and marketing company. Concurrent to the C.E.O. role, Mr. Hanak
also filled the C.F.O. role in working with commercial and investment bankers, the
audit firm and the company's investor community.
Before joining Digital Innovations, Mr. Hanak was a Vice President at Ispat
Inland Steel, a $2.3B subsidiary of Ispat International, NV, with responsibility for
all administration and legal matters.
Mr. Hanak graduated from Valparaiso University with a Bachelor of Science

Logan Jordan is Associate Dean of Administration at the Krannert School of
Management at Purdue University, where his responsibilities include much of the
school's infrastructure and support services operations, including information
Dr. Jordan’s academic area is strategic management, and he has taught in the
school's undergraduate, masters, and executive programs. In addition, Logan has
instructed in management development programs for the American Animal
Hospital Association, Case Corporation, Cendant, Lucent, Pfizer Animal Health-
Europe and Owens-Illinois.
Logan Jordan serves as a facilitator and consultant for a variety of business
enterprises and not-for-profit organizations and is a member of the Academy of
Management, the Strategic Management Society, the Institute for Operations
Research and the Management Sciences, and the North American Case

Azin Lotfi is a partner in the Business Group of Ice Miller, LLP in Indianapolis,
Indiana. Her primary areas of concentration are private equity, mergers,
acquisitions and divestitures. Azin also advises on securities, employment law
and general transactional matters. She has served as lead counsel in structuring
and negotiating various strategic and leveraged acquisitions and divestitures,
private equity and venture capital investments, joint ventures, mergers and
acquisitions, equity financings, and restructurings and workouts in a variety of

and advising publicly-traded corporations on various compliance and governance
matters, including with respect to Exchange Act reports, Sarbanes-Oxley reforms,
Section 13 and Section 16 reports, and executive compensation. Azin's work has
involved a variety of industries, including telecommunications and cable networks,
consumer products, manufacturing, internet services, and media and
entertainment for private equity sponsors and operating businesses.
Azin earned her Juris Doctor, Magna Cum Laude, from Indiana University
Azin Lotfi, J.D. School of Law at Bloomington in 1999, where she was inducted as a member of
Partner the Order of Barristers. While in law school, Azin served as an associate for the

Ms. Lotfi's experience prior to Ice Miller, LLP was at Kirkland & Ellis, LLP, from
1999 to 2005. Azin is fluent in the Persian language and is licensed to practice in
California, Illinois and Indiana.
Jim Mellott is the President and Founder of Northwest Interiors Corporation, a
supplier to the recreational vehicle industry. Mr. Mellott began his career in the
marketing, strategic planning and acquisitions areas in the banking industry.
Subsequently, he served as Vice President of Marketing for Holiday Rambler
Corporation, a recreational vehicle manufacturer, and then served as Vice
President of Sales and Marketing for Supreme Corporation, a national
manufacturer of truck bodies.
Mr. Mellott is a mentor for the McCloskey Business Plan Competition and is a
Member of the IrishAngels Investment Network, which is currently investing in
several new ventures..
Jim Mellott is a 1971 graduate of the Krannert School of Management at Purdue
University in West Lafayette, Indiana and is a 1981 M.B.A. graduate of Indiana
University at South Bend, Indiana.
Northwest Interiors Corporation
Bruce Olson earned a Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, a Masters
degree in Industrial Administration, and an honorary Doctor of Management
degree from Purdue University.
Mr. Olson worked at the Bank of New York and became the head of the New
England Commercial Lending Group and subsequently joined St. Joe Minerals in
New York as Manager of Corporate Development. He then became Vice
President of Finance for St. Joe International and moved to St. Louis to become
Vice President International in 1985.
Bruce joined Group One Capital, an acquisition company co-founded by his wife
Kim in 1987. Group One Capital acquired and managed companies using the
capital of its principals plus institutional debt. Over the years, Group One acquired
over twenty companies, which have included various businesses engaged in
electric products distribution, beauty products distribution, home remodeling,
sunglass retailing, beauty products manufacturing and luggage manufacturing.
Many of these companies were subsequently sold.
Today, Bruce Olson is President of BBI Group, a private investment group in
Clayton, Missouri. He is Chairman of Envisioneering Medical Technologies, a
Bruce Olson developer and manufacturer of ultrasound and biopsy products for the Urology and
BBI Group Radiation Oncology markets. He is also Chairman of Smart Karton, a packaging
Clayton, Missouri company in St. Louis, Missouri.

Simran Trana joined Dow AgroSciences in October 2008 as External Technology
Leader responsible for managing public sector alliances and sourcing technologies
from the academic and non-profit sectors. She now oversees the Technology
Licensing function for Dow AgroSciences. Prior to joining Dow, Ms. Trana was
Director of the Office of Technology Commercialization for Purdue University.
Purdue saw a doubling of invention disclosures, patent filings, start-ups and
licensing revenue during her tenure. Ms. Trana has over fifteen years experience
in developing and managing research collaborations, intellectual property, and
technology commercialization, in a variety of technology areas and research
disciplines, such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, engineering, software,
alternative energy, animal health and agriculture.
She has Masters Degrees in Plant Genetics from Punjab Agricultural University
in India and Business Administration from the University of Ottawa and continues
to be involved with AUTM and other technology commercialization organizations to
coach and mentor entrepreneurs and licensing specialists entering the dynamic
and evolving field of technology commercialization.

Jean Wojtowicz founded Cambridge Capital Management Corp. in 1983 and
currently serves as its President. Cambridge is a manager of non-traditional
sources of capital for businesses and has provided more than $462 million to over
1,236 Indiana businesses. Cambridge currently manages the Indiana Statewide
Certified Development Corporation, Indiana Community Business Credit
Corporation, LYNX Capital Corporation, and services as the co-general partner for
Cambridge Ventures, LP.
Ms. Wojtowicz is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She
