Acts 17:29 …we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, … Rom 1:20 …even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Col 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 6. 6. GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT The Godhead is three separate personalities – John 20:17Jesus saith …I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. KJV – Heb 1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: …KJV – Acts 5:3-4 ..why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, …4 thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. KJV 6
  7. 7. GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT Three separate personalities, cont’d – John 17:5 …the Father ..before the world was – Gen 1:1-2 …In the beginning… the Spirit … – John 1:1-3, 14 ... 13. 13. GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT He is not merely the mind, temper or disposition of the Father or the Son. The Holy Spirit is not a mere influence or vague impersonal form or power released by God in response to human needs. He is not the Bible, the New Testament or the word of God in oral or written form. These are products of the Holy Spirit, not He Himself. He is an individual personality of the Godhead. 13
