Twitterers use the tool to push product, build brand awareness,
instant message their friends, acknowledge and share links
about trends and events and their most personal moments.
Twitter is a mashup of brilliance, idiocy, art, confusion, hyperbole, and prayer
in 140-character-or-less sound bytes.I think Twitter is even more ... Twitter is a reflection of the human soul.
I've been Twittering since Sept. 8, 2007. Everything you need to know
about me is contained in a bank of content there within a growing stream
of some 1,750 140-character-or-less posts. My Twitter address is

I miss him this weekend ... his birthday is Tuesday, February 25
and the family is gathering in New Jersey to celebrate.
The following is from a blog post I wrote in September, 2007:
My Dad used to work with words ... he is a brilliant writer and editor
and he struggles with words these days ... over the last eight years
his body and mind have been out of synch
... it is a frustrating consequence of Alzheimers ...
and a bitter irony ... this man who taught me to talk,
to count, and to read and write shares utterances
that are often hard to match with the intent of his communication.
My sister Linda flew up from Dallas
and we have been sharing ice cream and memories ....
yesterday we had a treat neither of us was prepared to hear
... Daddy spoke some special words and this time there was NO mistake
about the meaning of his words ... when we parted with him for the day
we hurriedly wrote his words so that we would never forget them.
"No clearer satisfaction did any father ever have with the participation of two daughters like you."

Sometimes I read quotes that sound like they were written just for me and I share them ... they fit my self image ...

Cyber Alerts and Calls to Action

Recent changes in Facebook Terms of Service ignited a firestorm
and new conversation about intellectual property.
A simple "Retweet" (RT) shared a nugget proffered
by a respected member of the television press, Jim Long.
He describes himself as a “new media soul trapped in an old
Media body.” Sounds like me.

I met these ladies at a thatched kiosk
12,000 feet in the Andes.
We drank coca tea and smiled.
They make good tea … pay them a visit
and tell them Francisca sent you!

Shared Passion and Advocacy

Twitter is a place where you can make a difference.
You never know how many eyes will scan your text
in the moments following a post, and those words
are part of a massive data bank
that others will visit and revisit over time.

Foreclosure and distressed homeowners.

While many real estate agents chase short sales and trying to carve their own slice of the loan modification pie, giants like Ralph Roberts are actually helping people who want to remain in their homes because it is the right thing to do. It gives me joy and satisfaction to be able to share some viralocitywith Ralph.

#icny is a hashtag for the Inman Real Estate Connect Conference in New York. The conversation continues even though the live event closed in mid January.
