  • High Yield I Separate Account-R6 as of 06/30/2010 Investment Strategy Morningstar category The investment seeks high current income. The fund invests at least 80% of its assets in high-yield, below High Yield Bond investment-grade quality debt and other income-producing securities including corporate bonds, Morningstar Style BoxTM convertible securities, preferr ed securities, asset-backed securities and securities of companies in bankruptcy proceedings or otherwise in the process of debt restructuring. Loans of portfolio securities As of 05/31/2010 may not exceed 33 1/3% of the value of total assets. It primarily invests in securities rated Ba1 or lower by Duration Moody's Investor Service, Inc. or BB+ or lower by Standard & Poor's Rating Service. Barclays Capital US Corp High Yld 2% Issuer Capped Index is an unmanaged in ex comprised of fixed rate, non-investment grade debt securities that are dollar denominated. The index limits the maximum exposure to any one issuer to 2%.
