For the first time ever, Carnaval Miami unveils its Estrellas de Carnaval promotion, empowering the Latin Community to choose the next Super Star that will win a life changing experience and open for the King of Americas at Calle Ocho in March 2011.

Estrellas de Carnaval is an extended entertainment vehicle of Carnaval Miami and starts as an online music competition, executed through Ourstage.com and activated by an integrated six week campaign of radio, television, social and email marketing.

    • TOP LINETHIS SIX WEEK ENGAGEMENT IS A 360° INTEGRATED DIGITAL AND ENTERTAINMENT PLATFORM THAT INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING THE OURSTAGE ON-LINE MUSIC COMPETITION The promotion will generate eight fan selected winners, one of whom will become the Estrellas de Carnaval Miami. Winners from the competition will perform at three different Carnaval Miami music events and at Calle Ocho where the grand prize winner will be announced and will open on the KiwaniStage for The King of The Americas, formerly known as the King of Calle Ocho. THE MUSIC EVENTSThe first Estrellas de Carnaval Music event will kick-off at Noche de Carnaval on February 26th (3500+ people), the second and third music events will occur at the Carnaval on the Mile March 5th and March 6th (100,000+people) and the finale culminates at Calle Ocho Festival on March 13th, 2011 (1,000,000+ People). The music events include both winners from the Ourstage Competition and A list artists. THE TELEVISION SHOWS Six half hour “Estrellas de Carnaval” television shows will air on Mega TV Miami and will be filled with entertaining snippets from the Miami Carnaval Events, including Miss Carnaval Miami & Poster Unveiling. In addition, programming will include interviews and performances with A Level Artists and with Our Stage Winners. 3
