  •     It might help clients to see this big picture that gets them to benefits. It also identifies that projects come out of this service and they must be implemented to realize the benefits.   innovation lab generates a prototype, project specification & cost/benefit analysis. Having this type of deliverable could bring some additional value/discipline and facilitate the client's decision to implement the idea.   While the sustainable nature implies that we continually cycle through these phases, it seems like the deliverable flow is more of a traditional pipeline graphic (i.e., many ideas result in selected designs that are verified with prototypes that then get funded for implementation). The volume of ideas : designs : prototypes : implementations are proportionately smaller. Post implementation, benefits should result and be measured to quantify ROI (i.e., financial, speed, experience, or whatever the client's innovation objectives were to begin with). The pipeline needs to be continually filled with ideas, or the innovation benefits will dry up.   Reporting an innovation's ultimate / realized benefit will be paramount for justifying future innovation investments and cultural adoption. Do we have an approach for measuring and reporting innovation benefits, post implementation?   While fairs, workshops, and coaching are great mechanisms for giving practioners hands-on training / experience / guidance, they primarily address the educational aspects of the organizational change required to instill a sustainable innovation culture. Do we have thoughts on how to help a client with their overall org. change planning (i.e., governance, communications, overcoming resistance, monitoring & refinement)?     Okay, that was more than two cents worth, but I wanted to distill the thoughts which I have had over the last few days. What do you think?     Leo Bley | 408 300 4231 Mobile | 408 874 6536 All | Director - Strategy & Services | UST Global     -----Original Message----- From: Floyd Saunders (UST, USA) Sent: Tuesday, April 12, 2011 3:08 PM To: Leo Bley (UST, USA) Subject: RE: Innovation cycle graphic   This is first cut at what you are asking for. I don't think it is finished, but perhaps moving in the right direction. I highlighted in Bold the deliverable in each box (but it still in the box. I added text to the arrows (but it does not look sharp) to show the progression from idea => design => prototype (done in innovation lab.   -----Original Message----- From: Leo Bley (UST, USA) Sent: Tuesday, April 12, 2011 1:30 PM To: Floyd Saunders (UST, USA) Subject: Innovation cycle graphic     1.
