  • 1. Weather In Costa RicaCosta Rica is a small country situated north of the equator. It experiences the diverse and wide-ranging temperate tropical climate demonstrated by two seasons , the dry and also the wet. Thoughthis country is around the vicinity of the equator, Costa Rica has no actual winter or summer period,and it is sunny there more often than not. The sun rises earlier at around five am, and usually modelsabout 6 pm constantly the whole period of the year, which makes upward almost 12 hours ofsunshine each day.The dry season in Costa Rica is actually believed to be during the several weeks of Decemberthroughout April. The higher parts of this region have an averagetemperature of about mid to upper teens Celsius, while the lower parts possess mid to upper 20sCelsius throughout every season. Rainfall in the lowland averages to regarding 100 inches, whereasin the mountains it is about 140 inches.Central area region includes the provinces of San Jose, Cartago, Heredia and Alajuela. The climatein this area ranges from warm to dry to damp and chilly that depends on where you are located. The rainfall in this side of the valley is 127inches year round.North Pacific includes part of the province of Guanacaste, the western area of Alajuela, and the northsection of the Puntarenas Province. This region is considered to be the sunniest region and one ofthe most visited due to its amazing beaches. NOrth Pacific experiences annual temperature of 28degrees Celsius or 82 degrees Fahrenheit.The coastal region of Central pacific includes parts of the provinces of Puntarenas and San Jose, aswell as the beaches Jaco, Dominical, Uvita, as well as Quepos. This region usually has an averageheat of 32 levels Celsius throughout the year. The dry season finishes from January to March, whichmakes this area experience very warm temperature until the month of May.The South Pacific region includes the parts associated with Puntarenas. This part of the region has avaried dry and wet season. The heat averages from upper 20s to low 30s degrees Celsiusthroughout the year.
