UX Opportunity Mapping for Knowledge Work Applications

- A bit of background on me: I’m a user experience consultant -- my work covers research, strategy, and design - I have a firm called Flashbulb Interaction Inc., a consultancy that collaborates with clients to drive vision at the forefront of knowledge work. - Much of the work that I do for clients ends up being specialized tools behind firewalls, I can’t show publicly – so the idea is that Flashbulb Interaction publishes ongoing studio research as ebooks - The ideas I’m going to share today are explorations of a practitioner not any newly discovered human computer interaction truths, though referencing a lot of HCI fundamentals that I imagine many of you are familiar with - Eventually, a more elaborated take on this topic will be made into a free ebook – which will contain a lot of images and not just a summary of the motivations that I’m going to talk about tonight - So I’m curious to hear what you think of all this in the Q + A at the end of the session
