History of Fireproof
Fireproof Records Center has been serving central Ohio since it was founded in 1909.
Fireproof is central Ohio’s oldest and largest independently owned commercial records center.
Fireproof maintains over 500,000 square feet of document warehousing at 4 central Ohio locations.
Fireproof provides information management services for more than 2,500 clients.

Fireproof’s Facilities
Fireproof Records Center has four (4) facilities in the central Ohio area strategically located for disaster recovery purposes.
Our concrete facilities feature heat and smoke detectors and automatic sprinkler systems that are monitored 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

We also provide free Web Access that allows you to access your inventory online with your secured Fireproof username and password.

Stringent employee policies including background checks, drug screening, and signed confidentiality agreements
Individual slotted storage with an assigned barcode for tracking purposes within our database system
Active and Archival storage to place a group of cartridges together in one case and put on an active or rotating schedule for archival purposes

Fireproof offers a full range of certified destruction services to meet your needs.
On-Site Mobile Shredding done with our mobile shredding service - “Shred-Smart”.
Off-site Secure Shredding at our secure, locked shredding facility.
Secure shredding cabinets (receptacles/cabinets provided)
Daily, weekly, monthly scheduled rotations
Purging - Trained staff come on site to purge records for destruction
Computer tapes/cartridges and hard drive destruction
NAID Certified.
