BEFORE AND AFTER PHOTOS: The Galveston (TX) Fire Department saved an historic home in 2008, allowing for a full restoration by the Galveston Historical Foundation. When the National Trust for Insurance Services later asked for input on which fire department needed support, the foundation recommended them for a $12,500 grant from Fireman's Fund Insurance Co. for new hoses and nozzles.
